Located just 20 minutes from Parry Sound on magnificent Manitouwabing Lake, the Ridge is a golfer’s dream, playing through more than 300 acres of rolling Canadian shield. Uniqueness is the Ridge, where the course comprises less than half of the land, with the remaining 150 acres are dedicated to preserving the rugged landscape that is home to deer, moose, black bears, wolves, great-horned owls and multiple other forms of wildlife.

Course designer Tom McBroom created an 18-hole course that would complement the land’s natural features, while providing an accessible, but also competitive, round of golf. The par 72 layout has four sets of tees, from 4997 to 6815 yards, creating a challenge for players of all levels. With high rock ridges, forests, meadows, wetlands and tributaries, every hole presents its own distinctive personality. Forgiving fairways and reachable greens in the opening holes ease golfers into their round. Just beyond the final dog-leg, Mantiouwabing Lake glimmers as you prepare for your final approach shot to the 18th green.

The pristine beauty of the course is only matched by the highest standards of service experienced in the comfort of the award-winning timber frame clubhouse. Designed by Brian Brisbin of Brisbin, Brook, Benyon, it’s here that you can enjoy the relaxed, rustic atmosphere of a comfortable lakeside cottage complete with screened porch and outdoor patio.
