Established in 1989, Springfield Golf & Country Club is one of the premier golf and dining facilities in Wellington County. A John Robinson designed course, Springfield boasts a reputation of quality and unique styling, comparable to a South Carolina style of play. Water is a factor on 10 holes, including the signature hole #13, a par 4 which features an island green. Those lucky enough to birdie the 13th can etch their names on a plaque located in the lounge and will become members of “The Clan of the Island Green”.
After your round, come check out the newly renovated Pro Shop, located next the main building at the side of the original stone farmhouse. The shop carries a wide variety of merchandise, and will match any off course retailers pricing for current in stock merchandise. A great experience for any level of player, Springfield is a destination of choice for all golfers.
