One of the most historic and oldest golf clubs in San Diego County
Sail Ho’s rich history reaches back to the 1920’s when the course was built by A. G. Spalding of famed Spalding Sports. Over the decades the club has hosted golf legends (Phil Mickelson played lots of junior golf tournaments at Sail Ho Golf Club) and beginners alike, a tradition being kept alive by the current management.
Located at the north end of Liberty Station, Sail Ho Golf Club has been kept up to date with redesigned fairways, greens and practice facilities by renowned San Diego architect Cary Bickler. During the renovation, a new Clubhouse was also added which is home to The Sail Ho Bar & Grill.
