Pheasant Run’s distinctive layout makes it different from other GTA area. The rolling terrain gives you the feeling that you’re playing in the Valleys of British Columbia and not southern Ontario. It also has a very relaxed and casual feel, reminiscent of a resort course in Muskoka. All of the 27 holes on this course are in immaculate condition from spring to fall.

The longest and most difficult of the 9’s is the Highlands (as it tends to have smaller and less-forgiving greens), with the Southern Uplands and Midlands not lagging too far behind. This is not a course that really gives you a lot of opportunities to let loose with the driver. Unless you have great placement with your woods, you may want to keep them in your bag as much as possible. Landing areas are tight throughout the course and are often dotted with bunkers just waiting to punish over confident players.
