Old Course - Links at Summerly

Discover “the spirit of golf” courtesy of Links at Summerly. This course takes you back to the origins of the game. The architect, Cal Olson, had a definite vision for this patch of land. He wanted to design a real links course, and not a links style course. He wanted golfers to feel not only like they had been transported to the Scottish Highlands, but to feel like they had traveled back in time to the dawn of the modern game.

This course is not perfect; it’s not supposed to be. It’s rough and rugged at parts and flat and smooth at others but serene all the way round. The track makes great use of the natural features of the land and offers spectacular views of Lake Elsinore, the Ortega Mountains and the Cleveland Natural Forest. This is a unique golf experience not only by California standards but by North American standards as well, and is therefore a must play for anyone who is passionate about the game of golf.
