Cranberry Golf Course

Cranberry Golf Resort was Canada’s first Audubon Society certified golf course.

A true salute to the natural heritage of the game, this course exists in harmony with the indigenous wildlife and natural vegetation of northern Ontario. As one of Canada’s first eco-friendly courses, it is not only a pioneering venture but a great example of how a course can be both eco-friendly and championship quality.

Stretching over 6,500 yards through the beautiful Georgian Bay wetlands, this championship level course brings together picturesque views and thrilling excitement. The layout of the course is interesting as it is predominately flat. However, this is no Sunday afternoon drive. Mounds, ponds and 80 white sand bunkers, make for plenty of forced carries and less than perfect approach shots. But even if it’s the course’s day, you can always look forward to the 19th hole. Cranberry Golf Club is home to the famed Station on the Green Bar & Grill, which is a restaurant and bar located inside a restored early 1900’s CNR Stayner train station.
