About the club
With the gorgeous Niagara Escarpment as a backdrop, seconds from the 403, Chedoke Civic Golf club has been entertaining golfers since 1924. Chedoke Civic Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses just five minutes from downtown Hamilton. Designed by the legendary Stanley Thompson, Chedoke was Canada’s first 36-hole municipal golf facility. Currently, both courses are now overseen by award-winning architect Graham Cooke.
About the Beddoe Course
The Beddoe Course, named after Chedoke’s second Club President, Harold Beddoe, fully opened in 1951. This mature parkland course is defined by the tree lined fairways, beautiful rolling terrain, and Chedoke Creek, which comes into play on six holes. A deceiving par-70, the course features tight landing areas and small, sloping greens, ensuring a challenge to any golfer no matter what skill level.
