Castle Creek Country Club
8797 Circle R Drive, San Diego North County, CA, 92026 United StatesA PGA approved, 18-hole championship course that provides players with a 5-star Southern California golf experience
One of the most scenic, and traditional golf courses in Southern California, Castle Creek Country Club is a PGA approved, eighteen-hole championship golf club that has been providing San Diego with 5-star service at excellent prices since 1948. Jack Daray, who also designed the Olympia Fields Country Club, host of the 2003 US Open, designed this course so you know it has the pedigree of a fantastic track.
Besides the temperate and sunny San Diego climate, probably the best aspect of playing this course is hitting a perfect tee shot on the dangerously deceptive 14th hole, which is regarded by some of one of the toughest in the county. The other holes aren’t slouches either. The course is teeming with hazards and obstacles, from the oak trees that line the fairways, the white sand bunkers and water hazards, almost any shot you take on this course can land you in trouble if misjudged. Luckily the course offers five different tee options, allowing you to choose the difficultly that best suits your level of play.
